SOFTWARE FOR HOME USE

Some site-licensed software is available to install on home computers in support of NASA business. The following rules apply:

  • The software is for installation on ONE home computer only.
  • The media must be returned to the Software Library within 1 week.

Requesting Home Software

To request software for home use, contact the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) at 358-HELP (4357) or nasa-esd@mail.nasa.gov. You will need the following information:

  • What platform are you using at home (Windows or Macintosh)?
  • What software would you like to request?

The Software Librarian will contact you when your software is ready for pick up. You will be required to read and sign a Loan Agreement upon picking up your home software. ßß

NOTE: NASA Headquarters DOES NOT provide operating system software for home use.

Returning Home Software

Software for home use must be returned within 1 week, unless prior arrangements are made. Drop off home software at the Software Library, Room CX72, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. If the Software Library door is closed, you may attach a note with your name to the media case and slide it under the door.
