NASA Secure WebEx Upgrade – August 1-2, 2009
Secure WebEx Account Holders
July 31, 2009
On Saturday, August 1 at 9 p.m. through Sunday, August 2 at 4 a.m., Secure WebEx services will be upgraded to Meeting Center version 8. It is recommended that you avoid using the service during the upgrade activity window. Secure WebEx users, including the hosts and attendees, will be presented with the new version of Secure WebEx when entering a session for the first time after the upgrade. Please ensure that you log in at least 5 minutes prior to your next scheduled session after the upgrade because it may take that long for the new version to be downloaded. Once downloaded, you will experience an improved look and feel, as well as new features and enhancements.

Enhancements to the Meeting Center control panel
- New Instant Invites
- New “Join Before Host” Indicator
NOTE: After this upgrade, hosts will no longer be able to hold multiple sessions simultaneously.
Training
Training sessions for Secure WebEx are available to everyone, including users who currently do not have a WebEx account. Descriptions for each session and instructions for registering are available on the HQ Secure WebEx Web page.
