You Must Have an IdMAX Account
All NASA HQ Employees
March 24, 2009
All NASA HQ users must have an account on the Identity Management and Account Exchange (IdMAX) system. IdMAX is the Agency gateway to the tools necessary to gain access to IT systems, to update your personal information in NASA’s employee information directories, and (for new employees) to obtain a NASA badge.
If you do not already have an IdMAX account, take 5 minutes now to obtain one. Follow these instructions: How to obtain an IdMAX account .
Headquarters has already begun transitioning to these new Agency tools. In April 2009, HQ will begin using IdMAX/ NASA Account Management System (NAMS) to request access to many HQ applications. Currently these requests are submitted in Check In Check Out. Eventually, all requests for access to Agency and HQ applications will be processed exclusively through NAMS. In addition, IdMAX will soon be used by the Agency for resetting the password you use to login to your computer.
The following is a list of current IdMAX tools in production. You must have an IdMAX account to use these tools:
More information about all of these tools is available on the IdMAX@HQ Web page.
