Changing the Time on Computers and Telephones
All NASA HQ Employees
March 4, 2009
Daylight Saving Time (DST) begins Sunday, March 8, 2009, at 2 a.m. Most computer and telecommunication equipment used at HQ will update automatically to the new time with no user action required.
Desktop computers, VoIP desktop telephones, cell phones, and BlackBerry and Treo devices will update almost immediately. NASA laptops and tablets will update the first time they are connected to the NASA HQ network after DST begins.
If you find the clock on your device has not updated correctly, try disconnecting from the HQ network and then log back in. Instructions for manually adjusting the time setting on computer and telephone displays are posted online.
If you need assistance, please call the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) at 358-HELP (4357) or 1-866-4NASAHQ (462-7247) or send an e-mail.
