New Login Process After NCAD Migration
Contractor users outside of HQ who are scheduled for migration to NCAD
January 7, 2009

You are scheduled for migration to the new NASA Consolidated Active Directory on Monday, January 12, 2009, after 6 p.m. This migration will be performed by the NCAD Migration Team and will be invisible to you.

Effective Tuesday, January 13, the way you login to various systems will change.

Login to Outlook like this:

In the User name field, precede your user name with “ndc\”, as shown below.

Login to Outlook Web Access like this:

In the Center\User ID field, precede your user name with “ndc\” as shown below.

Login to SharePoint with “ndc\” in front of your user name.

Note: Occasionally SharePoint is slow to recognize a user’s migration status, so you may experience issues the day after you migrate, particularly in the morning. If “ndc\username” does not work for you, there is no harm in logging in using “hq\username.”
