MOBILE REFRESH PROJECT

This page contains information specific to NASA Headquarters users.

As part of the Agency Consolidated End-User Services (ACES) contract, ITCD is in the process of refreshing mobile devices at NASA Headquarters. This includes cellular phones, smart phones, and AirCards.

A separate project will be conducted to refresh iPads.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Device-Specific Procedures

Mobile devices without encryption (cell phones and smart phones): On the day of a scheduled refresh, users will drop off their existing mobile device and any accessories at a designated refresh location and time. They will return to the same location between 2 and 4 p.m. to pick up their new device.
BlackBerry devices with PKI Encryption: An ACES technician will perform individual refreshes and conduct the PKI Entrust encryption process by appointment.
AirCards: An ACES technician will perform individual deskside visits to perform these refreshes by appointment.
