All users are strongly encouraged to attend a training class on the operation of the new Cisco 9971 desktop phone. Classroom sessions will be offered on a floor-by-floor basis that coincides with the phone deployment schedule. Forty-one training sessions have been scheduled from November 2010 through May 2011. Each session (30 minutes) includes a demonstration of the new desktop phones plus hands-on experience with the phones.
In addition to the general classroom training sessions, organizations also have the option to request an organizational training class, geared towards entire departments.
Deskside sessions can also be arranged through the Computer Training Center.
