NOTICE:  CICO is no longer used for checking personnel in and out of NASA Headquaters -- See below for new processes

Check In Check Out (CICO) was a Web-based application used at HQ to automate and consolidate the various permissions and service requests for the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees (i.e., computers, phones, network folder access, and office space).  CICO also enabled current HQ users to request additional equipment, moves, and other services.

CICO Has Been Retired

Over the past several years, functions of CICO were systematically migrated to Agency-based systems. All remaining functions of CICO were transitioned on February 21. All open CICO requests were fulfilled and/or closed. CICO was retired on March 15, 2012.

All requests must be submitted using NAMS or ESD.

Requests which would have been previously submitted using CICO must now be submitted using the NASA Access Management System (NAMS) within the Identity Management and Account Exchange (IdMAX) application or the Order Services feature on the NASA Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) Web site.
