MISSION
Information Technology and Communications Division (ITCD) provides a full range of information technology (IT) and communications products and services to support the programmatic and institutional functions of Headquarters employees and organizations. This includes:
- Provision of all computer, network, telephone, facsimile, video and teleconferencing, and automated information systems;
- All services, from IT security, delivery of electronic mail, and interactive Internet communications to the distribution of science and engineering data; and
- Printing, duplication, graphics design, exhibit design, and document services.
The Division is also responsible for providing an effective IT management program, prescribing, developing, and implementing policies, guidelines, standards, architectures, and procedures that foster a secure, cost-effective, interoperable IT environment in direct support of NASA's mission. In conjunction with these activities, the Division assures that its services are integrated into NASA-wide services and in accordance with the "One NASA" strategic direction.
