This is an Agency service. ITCD provides this Web page as a courtesy to HQ users.
NED is NASA’s primary online phone and information directory. It is the primary storage location for all Centers’ directory information. NED is replacing the x500 Directory and makes it easier to locate contact information for your NASA colleagues.

Update Directory Listing
Due to recent improvements in NASA’s Agency-wide IT infrastructure, some directory attributes are still managed via update@hq.nasa.gov while others are managed through other mechanisms. Please use the links below to determine how to update the different data elements in your directory listing.
Customize Name Information
You can request changes to your e-mail aliases and how your name appears in the NED using User Self-Service (USS). USS is the Agency tool that allows you to customize your own name information, making it easier for your colleagues to find you in both the NASA Enterprise Directory (NED) and the Global Address List (GAL). This is useful for those who use a nickname instead of a legal name, those who recently changed their name, and those with very common names. To access USS, you must have an IdMAX account (see instructions for obtaining an IdMAX account).
For assistance, contact the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD): Submit a ticket online, send an e-mail, or call 358-HELP (4357).
