The IT Outage Calendar is intended to allow HQ users to:
- See scheduled maintenance work and vendor outages at-a-glance (i.e., impacts to network connectivity, e-mail services, HQ applications, Web sites, and remote access services).
- Learn about scheduled IT maintenance outages as quickly as possible.
- Access information about a particular outage by visually identifying the date.
- Identify which outages might impact you.
- Aid planners in identifying potential conflicts for significant events.

This is the first edition of the IT Outage Calendar. Future enhancements under consideration include providing calendar visitors with the ability to subscribe to a particular event or type of event so that they may receive automated updates should there be any modification to scheduled events.
